Pharestudio, a design atelier founded under the phare brand, has been adding inspiring and innovative interpretations to traditional crafts to be used in all living spaces since 2005 and creates brand new stories.
The vintage-looking but originally timeless designs, inspired by the 50s and 60s, are the most basic collections of the brand. They have strong character and fit every space and style, and they reflect the basic philosophy of Pharestudio.
In addition, pharestudio, brings back to life forgotten traditional Turkish crafts, with a unique interpretation of patterns, fabrics and materials.
Pharestudio’s 2005 design Galata won the EDIDA award in Turkey (Elle Decoration International Design Awards). 2006 design 7 Istanbul, an interpretation of Istanbul’s skyline, was exhibited in the Saint Etienne Biennial in France. Designed by applying a Turkish copper forging technique on an 18th century Western form, Harem gained recognition from foreign press (Financial Times, 13-14 June 2009).
